Turn a Business Frown into a Christmas Smile
Our successful Pre-Thanksgiving Barbeque at our Pasadena nursery has catapulted me into the Holiday Spirit. This is because I was able to meet and greet so many of the customers and suppliers who have helped grow Landscape Warehouse into the successful business that it is today. This, in spite of the fact that we live in the most taxed and regulated state in the country.
Our success is tied to your success… the success of our loyal customers and new ones, as well as the success of our supplier partners. Considering that we are all in the same economic boat with high inflation, record gas and food prices, and escalating labor costs, we must either work harder or work smarter to keep our businesses thriving.
Couple this with the negative news affecting the landscape industry in particular – from overly restrictive water conservation laws to the expensive conversion to battery powered equipment – and it is easy to see that 2026 could be another tough year for all of us. To help your business thrive, Landscape Warehouse is again planning a series of classes on various aspects of landscaping that will help you do it right the first time, using the right equipment and materials for the job that will save you time and money. These classes may even enable you to charge more for that job that will now achieve even more professional results. Also, feel free to seek advice from our expert bilingual counter staff. Remember, it is their goal to provide you with “Everything you need for your next award-winning landscape.”
I for one intend to remain positive, not just because I need to as an entrepreneur, but because of the wonderful family and friends with whom I get to enjoy each day, at work and at home. I suggest you do the same. During this Holiday Season, get your mind off that price jump that was just announced, or the delivery truck that needs a new engine, or… For the time being think about your employees and favorite customers having fun at your company Christmas party. Or your kids and grandkids exchanging gifts around the tree, with the smell of tamales and menudo – or the aroma of your favorite Holiday foods – wafting through the house Christmas morning. Also, remember the Reason for the Season, Whose birthday we celebrate, and Who somehow works out our problems every time, despite our worrying. That should put a smile on your face. It puts one on mine. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at Landscape Warehouse.
